For 
the drawing on the right I used graphite and coloured pencil, and for the other , I added a watercolor wash , which as you can see intesified the tones

I really love what you have done! Both the drawings are really lovely
and I love the angle you have used and the expression on his face. I
liked the first one so much, but the second, as you say, with the
more intense colours, seems to have really captured him! And I like
the way you have used a little less of the right shoulder in the
second shot. It’s just ‘purr-perfect’ and I think and hope it will be
a wonderful momento for my brother of a very loved pet.
