I have a one day exhibition,of my work , on Good Friday 2nd April , at the Key Centre, Middleham, DL84RA Wensleydale, as part of the Middleham Stables Open Day

I am exhibiting 8 paintings and prints at the Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes, from 1st – 20th April, this is in conjunction with other memebers of “Brigantia”,the association of Art & Craft workers of the Yorkshire Moors,Wolds, Coast and Dales

I started art tuition sessions at Alne Hall, Cheshire Home this week , a very satisfying experience working with 2 ladies with very different problems, one lady is very “arty” in her attitude and the way she dresses,has M/S and schizophrenia !
the other lady was an Art Teacher untill a disabling car accident, since when her considerable talents have wasted away though the staff remember her doing some good drawings, I hope that in time , with encouragement , she gets some of her abilites back.
They both certainly enjoyed the time I was with them drawing a rose, C ( I shall refer to them only by their initialto preserve their privacy) the art teacher drew very precise line for the petals and got lost , forgetting which petal she was drawing, but this is part of her disability ,L , meanwhile drew only multi coloured leaves !
I look forward to our next session and hope that over the weeks and months these 2 ladies enjoy and improve
